I love tags and had so much fun making these Ice Skate Tags for my Swap Group.

The main Tag with Layer is from Cricut - Very Merry Tags 

 Blue Card Stock - Recollections

Light blue Pattern Paper - Sandy Lion /Found pack at dollar store

I Stamped snow Flurries for back ground and Heat embossed in fine white powder

Small White Tag and We wish you a Merry Christmas sentiment (JustRite Stamps)

stamped in Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink and cut out with a border on my ScanNCut2 

The Ice Skate is from Cricut - CM Cheerful Seasons Cartridge

Snowflakes stamped in distress ink and added puffy paint to accent for the laces.

Bottom Snow Flake is die cut sparkly blue foil paper and skate blade is cut from silver foil paper.  Both from same stack - Holographic foil sheets - found at DT.

And from my stash I added these blue metallic 3-D snowflakes to each foil flake.

Snow Man Shaker Fuse card

I love snowmen... I am not a big fan of the snow in real life lol, but Snowmen are my favorite Christmas décor!!!  I fell in love with this simple Fuse Tool shaker card.  I added a stamped sentiment "Merry Christmas" from Craftin Desert Diva's (CDD) from their Happy Celebrations set which can be found by clicking here.  This is such a fabulous stamp set to have for card making through out the seasons and card giving occasions!

I didn't stamp it too straight unfortunately but oh well still love this card.  This one I adhered to a green stripe card stock and love the way it turned out making the edges look... so cute!  Reminds me of how the old postcards were.  I also added some dew drops on either side of the Merry Christmas Sentiment.

I wanted to point out that I cut down the shaker cards.....  they originally come as a trifold card but I like to cut apart all three panels so my kit stretches further.  I just use it as a card front on a regular card stock base.  The material is like a soft plastic and very flimsy... so for me not only does it need the card stock base to firm it up... but I get three card fronts out of one card!!!  Or I can use the extra fronts to cut shapes out of to add more fuse-able pieces to my other card fronts.

Here are both of the shaker cards I made with the red snowman fronts adhered onto Green Stripe Card stock bases.  The second card I used Green Brads instead of the dew drops.  There are 6 shaker card fronts in this kit... 2 each of 3 designs.  Plus 6 more regular cards, once I cut them in Half I can double it!!!  I hope you enjoyed all of my Shaker cards from this fuse kit over the last several days.  I used up all of the shaker fronts but I will be making more fuse cards soon with what is left in my Holiday kit.  I am sure I may even turn some of them into my own shaker designs!!!

Fuse Christmas Tree Shaker card

Another fun Christmas Shaker card made with the Fuse.  This time it is an adorable Tree shaped Shaker.  It is so fun and easy to put these cards together.



I love my Fuse Tool by We R Memory Keepers.  I bought the full kit during the summer with the purple fuse tool from HSN and had fun playing with all of the goodies I got.  Recently, because I chose Auto ship when I ordered... I received the Holiday fuse kit.

I wanted to point out that I cut down the shaker cards.....  they originally come as a trifold card but I like to cut apart all three panels so my kit stretches further.  I just use it as a card front on a regular card stock base.  The material is like a soft plastic and very flimsy... so for me not only does it need the card stock base to firm it up... but I get three card fronts out of one card!!!  Or I can use the extra fronts to cut shapes out of to add more fuse-able pieces to my other card fronts.

Fall owl center step card

Here is another fun center step card I made using another adorable Digi-stamp from Craftin Desert Diva's (CDD).  Oh my gosh this owl is so cute and was so fun to color with my Spectrum Noir pens.



The Count your Blessing stamp (Hey Pumpkin Set) is also from CDD as well as the sequins. The background behind the owl is done with Wild honey distress ink painted on as a water coloring... I mixed a little walnut stain to add the dimension... Just a little bit though.   The bottom flourish is from Spellbinders (Shapeabilities Die D-Lites - Flourish Trim)  as well as the flourishes on each side panel (spellbinders metal tags and accents).  At the bottom the small leaves are cut and embossed from a  Spellbinders die ( Jewel Flowers and Flourishes Shapeabilities) and then I rubbed the raised embossed veins with a very light blue ink.   I also added 4 orange buttons from my stash. For the side panels, I wanted something to go over the flourishes besides the sequins that I added to each swirl so I decided on a Cricut leaf cut from A Child's Year cartridge.  On the top layer I cut from a fun fall paper with tiny leaves on it.  I used my brown Cricut marker to draw out the veins and the outline of the leaf... I really like how it turned out.  I also cut a blackout layer a little bit larger in Brown to layer it onto.  The papers used for the two side panels and the bottom strip plus all three flourish cuts and the leaves were all cut from my Fall Paper Scraps stash.... I love being able to utilize my scraps for new cards!!!  I think that is about it for this one.... Thanks for stopping by to see what I am up to in my little crafty cave.

Holiday Ornament Shaker Fuse card

I am in love with the whole dang kit!!!  so I decided to make some Shaker cards for Christmas out of some of the fun designs included. 

I wanted to point out that I cut down the shaker cards, they originally come as a trifold card but I like to cut apart all three panels so my kit stretches further.  I just use it as a card front on a regular card stock base.  The material is like a soft plastic and flimsy...  so for me not only does it need the card stock base to firm it up... but I get three card fronts out of one card!!!  Or I can use the extra fronts to cut shapes out of to add more fuse-able pieces to my other card fronts.  For this card, as you can see the brown card front in photo above is just plain, so aside from the fuse-able bauble ornaments and words I fused on... I also added a few large snowflake sequins adhered with glossy accents and lots of dots with my white gel pen to look like snow.

Here are both of the shaker cards I made with the brown fronts adhered onto red Card stock bases.  There are 6 shaker card fronts in this kit... 2 each of 3 designs.  I will be back soon to share more of the others with you.  I also must say... I love the sequins they added with this kit!  So shiny and bright plus the cute little silver snowflakes are a great added touch for my Christmas cards.  I am so very Happy with these shaker cards and the Fuse tool is so fun to play with.  Thanks for stopping by to look at my work.

Happy Hedgehog Fall Center step card

I had so much fun creating this card.  The adorable hedgehog is a free Digi-Stamp right now over at Craftin Desert Divas (CDD) plus they have many other cute ones to choose from at a low price. 



I am getting better with my Spectrum Noir Pens I think.  I didn't have a bright yellow marker for the sunflower in her hair so I used one of my sharpies in a large colorful set I picked up at wally-world.  I also used distress ink (Wild Honey) to color the orange background behind her, I masked the image for this technique.  The Happy Fall Y'all stamp is from CDD Hey Pumpkin Set (click here to find this set).  The Label is from Cricut Wrap it Up Cartridge which I added 2 small orange brads to.  The Sunflowers are just dimensional stickers.  The leaves with acorns and the banner pole (not sure what to call it, lol) are cut with metal dies.  I also added some sequins from my stash then added a pearl to the center of each with fabric puff paint.  The tiny sequins are from CDD, Corn Maze (Sequins found Here).

Unbe-leaf-able Fall Card

Hello crafty friends.  I think I am finally getting back in a fun creative groove.  Today I made this Fall Leaf card.  I used items from 3 different companies that I love.  The "Lattice Flourish" edge'able is new from Consumer Crafts... I hand cut the center pattern paper to add to the fall look I wanted.  The "Flourish Leaves" are an svg file from Little Scraps of Heaven which I added a larger backing layer for each leaf.  And last but of course not least my favorite stamp company Craftin Desert Diva's is where you can find that Unbe-leaf-able stamp..."Hey Pumpkin" stamp set.  I just made it curve the way I wanted as I stuck it to the stamping block... I love the way it turned out.  I also used some tiny flat yellow sequins, also from CDD called "Corn Maze".  I then added a dot of orange puffy paint to each sequin and also in groups of 3 on the other 2 leaves.



The stamps on the inside are also from Craftin Desert Diva's "Hey Pumpkin" stamp set. The bear is stamped with Wild Honey distress ink and the others (Sentiments inside and out) are stamped with memento black tuxedo ink.  Also on the inside I used the pattern pieces I cut off from the front and backed them with pieces of brown card stock I cut with my new ScanNcut2... if I haven't told you before... I Love this Machine!!!.

Christmas Owl-idays Card

Trying to get my crafty mojo back this week.  I decided to make a Christmas card using some Craftin Desert Diva's Stamps and some of my other new products (& a few old products too).



I made this an A-2 sized top folding card with ivory card stock.  The plain green and pattern green papers are from a 6x6 Authentique stack I picked up at the scrapbook expo that I went to with my good friend Cheryl Scrappinmini a few months back.  The red and Ivory card stock are from Recollections.  I used my brand new Crafter's Companion Embossalicious folder "Seasonal Music" to emboss the Ivory layer that I then took my Tim Holtz blending tool and went over the whole thing with walnut stain distress ink covering the corners and edges darker.  I then took abandoned Coral distress ink with my blending tool and went over corners and edges again blending in toward the center.  I rolled the left corner and rubbed that underside corner with walnut stain as well.  For the centerpiece of this card I used Craftin Desert Diva's  (aka CDD) "Simply Holidays Wordart".  I also cut the svg backing file for this stamp...provided by Tara from CDD in the Facebook share group!  I cut one in red to stamp onto with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and I cut another larger one in green to layer onto which I used foam tape to pop up this entire piece.   I used a white gel pen to color in the dots on the word snow and the fuzzy stocking pieces.  I also used an adorable owl stamp from CDD "Owl-idays" peeking out from behind the rolled music sheet.  I cut him out with my new SNC2, colored him in with my new Spectrum Noir markers and used glossy accents for the rim of the hat.  I also used some fun CDD "Merry Mix" sequins that I won a month or so back (playing bingo I think) for one of the new release party weeks... Thank you Tara... Love them!!!
Oh, and last but not least for the front I added some black enamel dots to the three corners of the music sheet and one medium sparkly one to the top of the little owl's hat that I also won from another company .



For the inside I carried over the same fun theme using some of the same papers as the front to add some trim strips.  I used a spellbinders die cut for the ornaments down the strip stamping each one with an owl face again from CDD "Owl-idays" stamp set.  I placed 1 of each color of the sequins to top off each hat and used a dark green sharpie to dot the center of each sequin.  I used the sentiment Happy Owl-idays from that same set.  At the bottom right corner I decided to use 2 stamped ornaments from CDD "Chill Out" stamp set onto coordinating papers.  I used my SNC2 to cut them out and inked them and cut inside piece out by hand ..... tricky but can be done lol

Happy Harvest Bear Card

Hello Crafty Friends.  I am sharing a fun quick and easy Fall card I made today using the Hey Pumpkin Stamp Set from Craftin Desert Diva's.











Products used:
Hey Pumpkin Stamp set from Craftin Desert Diva's - I cut stamped image with my ScanNCut, colored Bear and leaves with chalk... pumpkin was colored with markers. Sentiment "Happy Harvest" I stamped with Memento black tuxedo ink.
Sequins - "Corn Maze" from Craftin Desert Diva's.  I double stacked small green on top of larger orange.
DCWV Pattern paper layer over die cut
Spellbinder's Fleur De Lis Rectangle Die-Cut in Orange cardstock
Embossing - Fall Leaves Swirl by Darice onto Kraft Cardstock.  After embossing I rubbed raised image with "Wild Honey" distress ink then tapped the top of raised image with Versa Mark ink and applied Copper perfect pearls powder.

3D Mourners Hat and Guest Diva

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I am so happy to have been asked to be a

Die Cuttin' Divas "Special Guest Diva"

Challenge #232 3D Projects

Woot Woot... I feel so Honored and so excited!

 

So I wanted to create something really cool and had put this off since last year and decided it would be perfect for this fun 3D Challenge!!!

There are a few other cool patterns in this file set that accompany the hat file.

I cut the Hat Pieces out of a thin chipboard with my deep cut blade on my Cricut.  I used this tutorial to assemble - http://needlesnknowledge.blogspot.com/2014/10/mourners-decorated-top-hat-assembly.html and found that it went together very easily. 

I then painted my hat Black with just plain Black Americana Acrylic paint.  after I let it dry I took a light green ink pad and smudged smears all over the hat to age and distress it.  I added two buttons to the fancy piece instead of using the circle cut pieces from the file.  I didn't have the color of buttons I wanted to use so I just took 2 white ones and used my purple sharpie marker to color them and get the color I wanted :)  I then added them to fancy piece on hat with foam tape.



I then took some black wire edged ribbon I bought at Costco several years ago and folded it in half and wrapped around the hat. then attached with hot glue for the hat band.  I also created a bow tie looking bow out of same ribbon and attached to hat band.  I die cut some swirls out of purple cardstock and glued those to the hat and added several pretty light purple sequins to those.  I added to real feather's that matched the purple buttons.  I then cut the rolled flower (included in this kit) out of a slightly lighter purple cardstock.  after rolling for assembly, I curved and tattered the petals and added a pretty white glittery dome shape to the center of the flower.  I then cut the skull head once out of the thin chipboard and once out of glow in the dark white vinyl.  I had some scraps leftover from a previous project I worked on recently... I love the added touch it gave!  I hot glued the skull head to the rolled flower and voila... all done.

I am very happy how well this project turned out and have to say I was a bit intimidated by it and now realize it was a piece of cake.  Great file... Thanks SVG Attic.
