What a fun card to welcome in a new baby girl. I really had fun making this card for my sweet little niece who is expecting her fist child. What an exciting time for the young couple.

Floral Lace Mother's Day Card
I am on day three of a killer headache so this card took forever to complete. I wanted it to be extra special so I really took my time on it from the beginning planning stages all the way to the last pearl added. I tried out some new techniques to me like coloring vellum with this card and really did have fun with it. That fabulous lattice card front is from Cricut Edge to Edge cartridge. I then used that same shape to create a shaped card base.
The beautiful floral images are from hot off the press lacy things stamp set. I stamped onto Vellum with my black stazon ink, I ran it through my scan n cut 2..... Oh good gosh you know I love that machine! I did have to use my razor knife to cut the inner part, but that wasn't too hard. I colored the backside of the vellum with my spectrum noir markers and a couple of Green sharpie markers for the leaves. I stamped the floral image again on white card stock with the Stazon black ink and cut it out with my machine as well. After cutting I went around the edges with a black sharpie marker just to get rid of any white edges. I ran the white cardstock floral pieces through my Xyron so I could adhere it to the vellum pieces without it showing through the vellum.
I layered a center Mat cut from red foil paper and then another in black. The Happy Mother's Day sentiment is from Desert Craftin diva's called happy celebrations stamp set. I stamped in versaMark and I heat embossed with Ranger white super fine detail embossing powder. I ran that through cuttlebug swirls embossing folder and the red foil in cuttlebug Swiss dots folder. I also added some pearls from my stash I think I got them at Michael's. I used sticky foam to pop up the floral images on the front of the card .
For the inside of the card I layered another red piece that matches the front and I stamped the floral and the wishing you a beautiful day sentiment both from hot off the press lacy things stamp set with StazOn black ink because that paper has a very slick surface.
I will be playing along in these fun challenges:

Happy Doggie Mom's Day
Using Sketch #8 from Mary's Sketches at Cardz TV, I created this fun card for a very good Friend. Her kids have Paws and she is such a good Mommy to them.
Back mats - Simon says stamp – stitched shapes bundle die set
Small Matted layers – Cricut elegant edges cartridge
Matching border – Cricut elegant edges cartridge
Embossing on the mat – cuttlebug flowers folder
Pitcher of flowers – Cricut country life cartridge - Popped up on foam tape
Paw print – four legged friends
Happy Mother's Day stamp – Craftin Desert Divas - happy celebrations stamp set
Papers and Jewel flower bling - from my stash
I computer journaled the sentiment words leaving space to add my paw and heart stamping. I printed it out on 4 x 6 size card stock I then used my stitched rectangle die from Simon says stamp – stitched shapes bundle to cut it out to fit in my card. I added some paper layers at the bottom as I used on the front and stamped you're Pawtastic! along with the paws and heart stamps that are all from Mr. cricut crazy - man's best friend volume one stamp set.

Bloom Frame Mother's Day card
I wanted to make a card today with a dazzle as the focal and this is what I came up with.
This is another one of Mary's Sketch cards from Cardz TV. This one is number Ten in the series. Can you guys tell I am in love with that stitched rectangle die from Simon Says Stamp. I use it on almost every single card lately ... inside and out!!! lol I found that beautiful blue glitter Paper at Dollar tree and just love it. The rest of the paper is from a recollections stack. The awesome gold frame and other gold pieces is from Paper wishes.... HOTP Dazzles. I am not one for hand cutting but the shiny reflective materials rarely gets recognized by my SNC2 but I have to tell you I love dazzles so much it is sometimes very worth hand cutting :) I used my spectrum Noir pens to color onto the innie pieces for the pot, the flowers and the butterfly before placing them inside and then I added some pretty gold bling to the flower centers. The Happy Mother's Day stamp is from Desert Crafting Divas - Happy Celebrations stamp set also one of my favorites!

For the inside of the card I just cut another of the same pattern paper from the front but this time cutting a section that had the beautiful flowers on it, again using the same stitched rectangle die from Simon Says Stamp - bundle of Stitched shapes. I added a butterfly dazzle near the flowers. The stamp is from HOTP Lacy Things stamp set.
