Cowboy Saloon Doors Birthday Card

I usually struggle with masculine cards but I had so much fun making this one.  the gatefold style of the saloon doors swinging open are so fun from Creativekuts.com!  I popped up the hinges and the Happy Birthday blocks with foam tape.  The awesome boots, hat and small horseshoe are all from a die set.  The Birthday stamp is HOTP - Birthday Cheer.  The stitched rectangle is from Simon Says Stamp - Bundle of stitched shaped.  Pattern Paper is from Deja Views - Global Treks.  Spectrum Noir Marker for hand drawn stitching inside.

Holiday Cheer Deer card

Back with a fun Christmas Card today.  I decided to make the background with this awesome layered stripes svg from Creativekuts.com
The sentiment and little deer stamps are from Darcie - Peekin' Polar Pals
colored with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I added gold stickles to the flower centers.
The red polka dot stripe is fabric tape.The flag sentiment banner I hand cut.

It's your birthday star easel card

Hey there, back with another fun card.  I do not remember where I got the star mesh SVG from but I love it.  I used a couple of different die sets to add more stars and add all of the foil accents.

Happy Birthday Daisies card

Hello everyone, wow it has been a long time since I posted.  I wanted to share a card with you I made using an awesome fancy lattice background/cover svg my friend Cheryl from Creative Kuts made for me.... I love the gorgeous design.  I decided to use the fun sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches this week to inspire my layout design.

The beautiful Daisies are Stitched Daisies Wafer dies - Simon Says Stamp
I cut the petals twice for each flower
The Happy Birthday Stamp is from Paper Wishes HOTP Simply Susan stamp set
I heat embossed each word
I don't remember the maker of the stitched banner die, cut 3 times and layered
I added some flat back pearls to finish it off

For the inside I used another SSS die, stitched rectangle from Bundle of Stitched Shapes
The sentiment stamp is from Paper Wishes HOTP Lacy Things Stamp Set
The flower stamps are again from Paper Wishes HOTP Simply Susan stamp set

Ornament Spread Cheer Card

I made 2 exactly the same for this card using a one sheet wonder template where you get 12 cards using only one 12x12 sheet of pattern paper.  This is the first two.  I used a new product to me for the glitter purple bow and the ornament flourish layer.... its called
3D-Stempel-Paint or Stamp paint.  I used just very little and smeared it all over the flourish area before adhering layers and the bow which I used a foam tape to pop up on ornament.  I kept this very simple as I make around 50 Christmas cards each year so some of them need to stay simple lol.

Snow layered card

This card was so easy and fun and I love how it turned out.  This is another card file from Cheryl over at creativekuts.com

The snowflake pattern paper and the swirled vellum are from a card kit I never used and I thought they would be perfect for this card.  The teal striped paper is from recollections I believe.  After Layering up all of the letters for the word snow with the swirl the vellum at the top, I decided to adhere the background paper to the back but you could certainly leave that open to show through to the inside  if you wanted.  For the snowman I used some of the same pattern paper for his hat, scarf and gloves.  I also used a peachy keen face stamp – winter faces.  I stamped twice and cut out the nose on with the second one to layer over his cap.  I added some pink chalk on his cheeks and white gel pen inside the eyes.  I also used my wink of Stella clear glitter pen to go over his cuffs, his hat brim and his fuzzy top notch on his cap.  I never can get it to show up on camera but it looks so much better in person.

For the inside I used some teal paper card stock to layer under some white paper.   I added a tag that matched the snowflake paper and stamped the cutest sentiment from peachy keen Snow Me a Man stamp set saying if Santa brings you coal..... Build a snowman!  I love that!!!   I also took one of my very small snowflake dies from HOTP/Paper Artist - Snow globe die set  and cut several in white and teal to accent the inside.  Once again you can't see it in the pictures but I took my wink of Stella clear glitter pen and went over all of the snowflakes.

Merry Christmas Gingerbread Cards

So I had to make two more cards with the adorable cut that was left over in the pattern papers from the last 2 cards.  I changed up the whole layout and card style but used some of the same papers, dies and elements including the cute little ginger stamps.  This time I used the leftover Pattern paper cut, backed with a stitched green mat I cut down to create with Stitched Fishtail Flag Stax Banner die.

Gingerbread Swing Cards

I had so much fun creating these Christmas cards.  I started out with a swing card base from Creativekuts.com

These pattern papers are from a Paper pad I bought years ago from OTC, they screamed out Gingerbread men to me lol.  The red pattern paper squares are actually scraps though from a HOTP paper pack.  The stitched tag for the Merry Christmas Sentiment stamp I created with a larger tag from Simon Says Stamp dies - Bundle of Stitched Shapes that I cut down using same die.  I loved this fun card so much I made two.
