Happy Lashes Shamrock Card

Good Afternoon My Crafty Friends.  I had plans to get some things done around the house today but when I checked my email this morning I got all inspired after watching Mary's Video from Cardz TV for her Baby Cards (I added the link so you can go watch for yourself if you missed it... I love her videos!).  I just had to come play in my craft room and use the fun card file she used from Cricut Wild Card Cart with the little window.  What a great cut that can be utilized for so many different card themes.  This will become a go-to card cut for me I am sure.  Here is the fun card I came up with.

I cut a green card base with the window from Page 43 in Cricut Wild Card cut at 6 1/4"
I used a fun blue dot paper with a rainbow on it from a Paper Studio Pack called Daydream Doodle for my card Layer.  I cut the Shamrock from Cricut Create a Critter 2 @ 2 1/2" an added the adorable Peachy Keen Face Stamp from the Happy Lashes set (1 1/8").  The adorable green paper with glitter dots used for her and the window frame are from the same paper pack.  I added some dark green card stock from my scrap bin for the shadow layer to the shamrock and the smaller one I cut for the inside.  The Shamrock Girl on the front is pop dotted up on foam squares.  I used my pink & Red gel pens to color in her mouth & tongue and pink chalk for her little rosy cheeks.  I tied a small bow from pink satin ribbon and used a small bit of double stick tape to adhere it to her head.

I used a Scallop Circle Die-cut from Paper Wishes for the gold Piece and stamped it with a Happy St. Patrick's Day Circle Stamp and then a bright red lips-kiss stamped in the center.  I trimmed off the overhang on that Scallop circle.  Those 2 stamps plus the sentiment stamp in the window (I'm all the Luck you need) are all from a set called Irish Luck From Shabby Chic Stamp Co.

and finally on the inside I started by printing out the Happy St. Patrick's Day sentiment on the yellow paper, Leaving room above it for my stamp through the window & cutting it to fit just inside the card base.  One last thing... I ran the small shamrock through the CB Swiss dots folder and ran some very pale blue ink over it to make the dots pop before adhering it down in the corner.

And here is one more view with a clip holding it closed so you can see it better.

Love Pennant card

I had so much fun making this card for my Hubby for Valentines day :)
and it was soooo simple with the file I used from Birds Cards... her files are AWESOME!!!

If you can cut an SVG file, you do not want to miss getting this one. Bunting Card Cover 5
Get over to her site and download yours today :)
What an easy way to make a gorgeous card... use her file... pick out your papers... cut and layer it all together... then simply embellish to your liking!

I popped up the bunting cuts on foam squares atop the awesome love words paper.  I added some grey lace ribbon ties with a flower to top each from a flower sequin and a pearl dot on top!  I then added 3 more 1/2 pearls at the bottom left.  I also added a pink brad with red flower in the center of the "O" in the word LOVE.

On the inside I used some of the same Lace Ribbon at the top with a flower made the same way... The stamped sentiment is from an old Card Maker Kit along with the beautiful Swirled Hearts stamped in Pink

Love Stamp Heart Box

This was so fun and easy :)
The heart box itself is pink and is cut from Cricut Tags Bags Boxes and More
the added layers in red on top heart I cut myself and ran them through Hearts #2 folder by Sizzix.  The fun stamp cut is from Cricut Sweethearts cartridge... I added red gel pen lines over outline cuts... I put Black behind heart section and red behind word section... the small pink heart I cut to match the pink box... the big heart I cut in red and used a pop dot to give it some dimension.  The adorable stamped face is from Peachy Keen Simple Sallies.  I then of course used my white gel pen to enhance.

Love Heart Doily Card

Boy it has been a long while since I posted here.  My recent move took a lot of time and work.  Happy to finally be back to creating something for a change.

A very simple card creation.  I used cuttlebug flowers embossing folder to letterpress the front of card with red ink flowers.  I ran the white scalloped layer through the same folder to emboss this time.  I then used my largest die on a pretty red pattern paper from the Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangles set.  I added some epoxy flower corners to this.  The my intricate heart doily cut in white.  and finally a cute small tag cut from same pink paper as base, I used red gel pen to add stitching lines.  Stamped the Stampabilities Love stamp in the center with red ink and attached with a red brad.
