The Card Base itself is Pink ~ Ice Cream Social Linen Textured cad stock from "the paper company" I used a beautiful card cut from my Pink Journey Solutions Catridge. Now the next layer of paper is so gorgeous. This is handmade paper that i won in a recent follower giveaway along with the cartidge Girls Makeup Party. I was the lucky winner over at Diana's DL.ART along with the the beautiful handmade paper and the cart she also made me a beautiful card. Click here to go see it now on her blog. I love it, It is above my desk. So pretty. Ok back to my card.
Everything is cut with my Pink Journey Solutions Catridge. The Butterfly is pink Bazzill on top and some of the handmade paper layered undeneath that layer I curled the edges of the wings down to give it an elegant 3-D look. underneath is anther buttefly cut with some pattern paper. On My Pink Ribbon layers, I put pink bazzill on the bottom and patterned paper on the top layer. then popped up on that is a white oval and a pink oval atop of that and then a pink ribbon brad from my stash. I love how the word courage came out. I put it though my xyron upside down to make the top of the word sticky then sprinkled with this oh so pretty pink glitter from my stash ~ Love IT!!!
The two lacy stickers on either side are from my stash and of course I went around everything with white gel pen for stitching.
I used the same Patterned paper for the inside and then I added some embellishment and sentiment with my computer in Craft Artist. I love My Sister <3 <3 <3
Have a Wonderful Day!!!

ReplyDeleteHi Eva, your card is so lovely and very creative, I think you put your heart and soul into this one and it shows! I am so sorry to hear about your Sister. It is a horrible disease but with modern medicine and a positive attitude it can be lived with, and even cured, but at a minimum it can really bring people together, especially Sisters! Be there for her and know that there are people out here for you! My Mother lost her fight but she waited many years before telling anyone, but she was at home, with my Sister and me and it brought us all so close for five more years! I am sending prayers to you, your Sister and your families!
