Hello my Crafty Friends, Happy Tuesday to you all. I just have a short quick post. I wanted to share with you a quick cute little card I made recently. My Step Daughter was wandeing about turning some of the shapes off of the Gingerbread Cartridge into cards so I thought I would play around with it. I don't have a Gypsy but I did this in Cricut Craft Room and then cut on my E-2. She only has the little cricut create with a 6x12 mat so she can't cut anything to big. Monday she will be coming over for a tutorial with me on the Cricut craft Room so she can make these herself. We have a card swap coming up with 5 sets of Chistmas Cards so using some of these shapes made into shaped cards would be fun for some of them.
So I used The Gingebread Cartidge for this one. The Gingerbread man is key # 27 on the overlay and the white layer is directly under the first one and is key # 37 on the overlay. This is a very simple cart with only 2 layers fo each object. so as I said I used the Cricut Craft Room to copy past and flip the first image to use as my shaped base. I then positioned the secon layer directly under the first and welded both items together. The second layer, cut in white for the icing was only cut once. I used a cute Treasure Face from TBD...love them. I have both ses of those stamps, I think this one was from set 2. I stamped in white ink then drew in black pupils with black gel pen and a pink gel pen for the nose. I added some cute little rhinestones for buttons.
For the inside I used the opposite cut outs fom the frosting and added a Merry Christmas stamp from My cardmaker kit of the month club kits. So there you have it, easy peasy. Tomorrow I will be posting my first official DT Project for Creative Kuts, so please come back then and let me know what you think.
I hope you enjoyed my project, I would love to read your comments so please leave one. Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope to see you back very soon. If you are not already, I would love for you to become a Follower/Friend of my blog. I try to add lots of new projects every week for all to enjoy.
