Sending Sunshine

I went to sleep creating this card in my mind for another fun take on the challenge over at Tuesday Morning sketches.  I thought a happy sunshine breaking out from the clouds would be pretty cute.

I started with an awesome Sun rays background I got from my friend Cheryl over at Creativekuts.com,  I cut it from a dark yellow cardstock and backed it with a lighter yellow card stock.  I placed on a 6 1/2 x 5 white card base.  I die cut 2 clouds and ran them through my Cuttlebug Swirls embossing folder and brushed them all over with my Crafters companion clear glitter marker.
I cut a couple of circles to stack behind the adorable stitched sun die cut.  I stamped the face with Peachy Keen Basic paper doll face then colored in mouth with Spectrum Noir B01 and added some glittery chalk to the cheeks.  I used the clear glitter marker on each stitched sun ray.  I popped up the stitched sun on foam tape.  I ran a yellow glittery sheer ribbon around top of card and placed a label from Spellbinders Blossom Tags & Accents over the center of the ribbon.  I stamped Sending Sunshine from  Scarecrow Kisses stamp set in versamark ink and heat embossed with fine white embossing powder.  I brushed the edges of the label with the clear glitter marker.  I popped up label with foam tape.  I added a yellow epoxy dot to each end of the label to finish it off.
