Boy Bear Pre School Layout

If you are looking for my Blogaversary GiveawayClick Here
Hello my Crafty Friends,I hope you are all well and creating like mad!  I worked on a layout all day yesterday and finally finished it up this morning.  I am in slow mode as some how I got my back out of whack and am fighting through a pinched nerve.  It is making me mad, not just for the pain but it has slowed me way down when I have so many things I want to create this week, lol.

So here is my fun layout, created with some fun files from Creative Kuts.  This is only a small portion of the awesome files included in this fun School Days Collection.
How fun is this???  I love this set!!!  I need to make an album for my 2 little Grand Children.  Dustin went to preschool and is in Kindergarten this year.  So this will be his Preschool Page.  His Sister Ashlyn will be starting Kindergarten next year.  I will be working on more pages for this album in the future for sure.  So let me tell you a little bit about this page.  The Paper for the most part came in a kit from My Memories.  Some of the pages have a predesigned layout.  This one did not and all of the embellishments are from the School Days Collection.  I designed the letters Pre cutouts in sure cuts alot and the border cuts on the left of the page.
I used my white gelly roll pen for the eyes and nose highlights on the bear as well as stitching around the apple and some stitching in the letters Pre.

The ribbon I added to the banner cutout is from OTC  called Fun Expressions, the Sparkly brads are from there as well.  Come check out the other DT Creations over on the Creative Kuts Blog.  also you can join in for more fun over at our Facebook Page, Come like our page there so you don't miss any of the free files or fun inspiration.  We would also love to see you post your CK creations on the fan page too.  Just Click Here.

Halloween Fun Card

If you are looking for my Blogaversary Giveaway

Hello Crafty friends, Here I am again for a 3rd time today, wow...I have been busy, LOL.  I wanted to share with you a card I made from the rest of the Halloween Fun file at Creative Kuts.  I used the rest of it on my cute little Halloween treat bag the other day.  Click here to go right to this adorable file.

I decided to make mine have a super girly look with all of the purple and pinks.
I even added a little pink bling for the buttons.
I designed the inside with my Craft Artist Platinum & the inked edges pink to go with the front of the card.

I am entering this card into these challenges:

Mini Monsters - Gross Girly

If you are looking for my Blogaversary Giveaway

Good Morning again Crafters.  I am here posting my second card of the day.  I absolutely love this Mini Monsters Cricut Cartridge I have on Loan from my Step Daughter.  I have a bunch of things I want to make from it and the Happy Hauntings she also loaned me.  I will keep this short and sweet.

I used the Gross Monster on page 38.  I used the card feature key for the card base, cut at 5 1/2".
I cut the next layer in Green and the next called layer 1 in the handbook in the purple, both cut at 5 1/2" also.  Since I was adding my own googly eyes I didn't need to cut layer 2, but I did cut Layer 2/shift for the mouth.  I just discarded the black dots for the eyes.  I used the super big googly eye in the center for a more fun look.  I then added some faux stitching that are rub-ons from Studio 112.  I thought a tattered look could be fun.  The Happy Halloween phrase is also from the Mini Monsters cart on page 74, I didn't add the shadow, only Phrase/shift.  I then added a cute little felt flower with some bling in the center and a bow of purple floss to girly her up some more.
Here is the inside, I will add a sentiment later.

I hope you enjoyed my project, I would love to read your comments so please leave one.  Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope to see you back very soon.  If you are not already, I would love for you to become a Follower/Friend of my blog.  I try to add lots of new projects every week for all to enjoy.

Fall Easel Card

If you are looking for my Blogaversary Giveaway

Good Morning my wonderful crafty friends.  Wow, This card was a blast.  I so love to create.  This awesome Pumpkin Svg is from The Lovely Jani at Paper Compulsions.  She has this very cool new challenge blog called Cuttin' Up with Class.  I hope a bunch of my friends will go check it out.  You get a free file to use and keep and then create whatever you want with it.  Enter it in the challenge  and that’s it.  Fun huh?  Then not only will she have some fun Prizes I think but she will also be offering winners badges for you to post proudly on your blog when you win.  Then you will get a new FREE file to use for the next challenge.  I know I want to play along.  So Here is my Submission.

I took the Pumpkin and cut it in a few different sizes and made a cool pumpkin patch on an easel card.  This is my first ever Easel card and I loved it.  The Sign and the grass are from another fun place, Treasure Box Designs, and they are found in the Camping Fun set.  The stamp on the sign, “Pumpkin Patch” is from Studio 112, A stamp I found at JoAnn’s in the dollar bin.   The Happy fall I created with my computer in Craft Artist Platinum  I printed out and cut a rectangle around and the rounded the corners with my corner rounder at ½”.  I also rounded the bottom edges of the card and the liner of the card as well.  I did a lot of inking all of the edges with my Distress Ink, Walnut Stain.  The cuttlebug embossing on all of the pumpkins is D’Vine Swirls, My favorite folder I think, lol.  The adorable little face on the Biggest Pumpkin is from Treasure Faces set 1, a set of stamps I recently purchased from Treasure Box Designs.  I used my White Gelly Roll pen to enhance the eyes and a Red Gel Pen for the nose.  Too Cute.  This will be going on my Mantel with a bunch of other fall and Halloween projects to come soon.

Mini Monsters - Halloween Treat Box

If you are looking for my Blogaversary Giveaway

Good Morning Crafters, I hope all is well with each and every one of you.  Weekend is over and Monday is here.  Today I did a quick treat Bag.  It is so Cute.  My Step Daughter let me borrow two of her new cartridges to play with, Yay!!!  I have so many projects I want to get done form the Happy Hauntings, I am looking forward to getting some done this week.  She also let me borrow Mini Monters, which is so cute!!!  I gave her the Cricut Bug Flu, lol so she bought herself a Cricut this year.  She bought the little bug because she is mostly a card maker.  She is a teachers aid and needs some Halloween Treat Bags for the kids in her class so I thought this would be a fun cute one for them.  So I will use my Expression to cut the bags for her and then she can cut all of the other layers on her little bug.  This is the one I chose for her kiddo's.  I cut at 5 1/2" so she can fit all of the other layers on her machine.

Look at this adorable little tail that slips into the back, hmmm...it may even be cuter with some scoring and let it be kind of an accordian look.  How Fun.  I will be adding some more projects over the next couple of days from this cart before she gets it back from me.

Woo Hoo Exciting News and Halloween Fun Treat Box

If you are looking for my Blogaversary Giveaway

Hello all of my Wonderful Crafty Friends.  I am so excited to tell you that I am now a member of the Design Team over at Creative Kuts!!!!!  I am so Excited and honored to be a part of their team.  If you are not familiar with them then go check out the Blog at http://creativekuts.blogspot.com/  or
visit the store to find some really cool files like the ones I used to embellish this Treat Box at  http://creativekuts.com/  They also have a fun facebook page too where you can share creations you make with their files.  I know you will love them as much as I do.  Now for my project, my first as a new Creative Kut's Design Team Member.
How fun isn't it?  Here is the link to this Fab set of Files that I used here on my treat box called Halloween Fun  or Click Here
Here are some individual shots for you to chek out
This fun Treat Box I found on Score-Pal.  Love It.  i only used one hole punch at the top instead of the two it called for.
On this side I dug out some really cool glittery papers from Pressed Petals that I had been hoarding, lol. I used them for the Glittery Green love potion bubbles boiling over in the Cauldron, the legs of the witch and Gold Glittery paper for the shoe buckles and band & star on the witches hat.  The background paper is from a K&Company Halloween and fall stack.  The rest of my papers used are all from scraps.  The Book I scored down the middle and inked up.  I used my white gelly roll pen to write Love Potion.  I inked all of the black pieses in white ink as you can see.  the green with a darker green ink and the rest of the pieces are all inked with walnut stain distrees ink.  I used some foam squares to push the book outward at the top.
This side was fun too.  Here you have Mr Froggy drinking some of the withes love potion.  The Background paper is again from K&Company Halloween and fall stack.  The rest of the papers are from scraps.  The Ribbon is called Autumn Inspirations from Jo-Ann.

Well thats it for me today.  I hope you enjoyed my new project.  I would love to hear what you think so leave my a comment please.  I would also love it if you decided to become a follower of my blog if you are not already.

Gambling Birthday Fun

Hello my very Crafty Friends, I hope all is well and you are all getting ready for a wonderful weekend.  It is my Husbands Birthday tomorrow so I made up some little goodies for him.  His Card is the perfect poker Hand. The Box is an ATC Box (Freebie) and the Happy Birthday on the envelope was a Freebie.  all of theses files came from one of my favorite places to shop for svg's ~  SVG CUTS.  If you have not checked them out for your svg needs you are missing out.  There is a banner at the top of my blog, just click it and you will be taken to their wonderful store.  There are lots of freebie files too.  Go check them out, you won't be sorry.

For his card I used Bazzill Basics for the Green and paper scraps for the black and red.  The White believe it or not, is the back side of some packaging of a paper stack I bought.  It is shiny like real cards and worked out perfectly.  The inside of the card is fun too.
For the inside I used a fun striped paper from My Minds eye, Bohemia.  I also used this
same paper for the envelope, since it will be hand delivered I thought it would be fun to
match it up.  Back to the inside, I cut another stack of chips and a single chip but
used the turquois blue that is a shadow for the front of the card.
The gift box is cut in a red card stock, then I cut again in this Happy Birthday Paper from
Momenta.  I attached the two together and then scored and folded the box up.  I then added a strip of the green and a thinner strip of the striped paper, which is also on his card, around the middle of the box.  The Happy Birthday ribbon I tied on was from my stash.  The two tags are cut with the corresponding papers as well and I just used basic shapes in Sure cuts alot for the tag cuts.  Then I tied them on with a little hemp cord after I stamped the "its your day Celebrate" greeting.  The inside is stuffed with lotterey cards, I thought this would fit right in with his card.  I already got him his big gifts, which were parts for his beloved Classic car.  But I wanted to have a little something to give him on his actual Birthday.  Here is a shot of all of the fun scratchers he gets to enjoy.

Well that is about it for me for now.  I have some exciting news to share with you very soon.  See you all Tomorrow I hope.

Have a Wonderful and Crafty Day

4-Ever Love, Anniversary Card

Today is my Anniversary.  It has been 5 wonderful years that I have been married to my Husband today.  I can't imagine life without him!  I made this card for him trying to not get to girly but still show the love.  I used a couple of different colors of Brown card stock, the blue and the blue polka dots paper are from My Minds Eye, the Bohemia collection.  For the card cuts and the envelope I used Just Because Cards Cartridge.  Page 29 for the card cut at 6 1/2" and then the three card liner layers cut at starting from bottom, 7", 6 1/2", & 6".  The envelope is from page 29, also cut at 6 1/2".  The hearts are all done on Sure Cuts Alot 2, shapes.  I did a double background heart with two layers and then 2 single two layer hearts that I stacked together and used foam squares to pop them up for the dimension.  Lots of little 1/2" hearts all over and folded up for more dimension.  I used my white gel pen to add all of the stitching.  Also my blue gel pen & white gel pen for stitching for the envelope.  The hearts say 4-EVER LOVE in white gel pen and then silver stickles.

The inside Vellum is beautiful and is from Quick Quotes.  I won some travel themed chipboard in a blog hop a couple of months ago from Lisa at  http://www.scrapaholic22.blogspot.com/ and she was nice enough to throw in this gorgeous Vellum Sentiment.  It says "You're The Meaning in My Life, You're the Inspiration"  It was perfect for this Anniversary Card for my Man.  Thanks Lisa.

I tried to Post this yesterday before we left for the Beach but my internet was down, so here it is a day late.  We went to the beach for our Anniversary and I loved it there.  My favorite place to go, for anything...lol!

Beach Hut Explosion Box

Hello my fellow crafty friends.  I hope all is well today.  I want to share with you all today this amazing explosion box.  I was given this awesome set of files by my new friend Jani, from Paper Compulsions.  Isn't she super talented.  I love this explosion box.  I saw hers on a blog hop I hopped and absolutley fell in love with it.  I am so pleased to have finally found the time to make my own.  Lets see ~ I added a few things like Embossing the outside of the hut with my cuttlebug folders, simply squares for the bottom layer and forest Branches for the dark brown outer layer.  I also used tiny bubbles folder for the sand berms at the bottom.  I didn't add the shells because I was having issues, lol.  The top came out so cute.  I added several more layers...lets see, there was an 8", 7" and a 6".  I added a few more layers, a 5", 4", 3" and a 2".  I the took my paper piercer and curled the edges up all different ways to give it a wind blown effect.  I love the way it came out, I hope Jani does too.

Now for thie Inside, How awesome that she designed a Sandcastle for the middle.  Mine didn't turn out as good as it could have.  I was fighting with sizing things correctly.

I do like how it turned out though.  I raised my front piece higher so you could see through the top window.  I love the flags Jani, great detail on that.  I love all of the layers of water waves on the edges of the photo pages.  I would love to keep this for myself, but I have a very special person and occasion in mind for this one.
And surprise, even the sand castle is a box too.  A grat place to store some shells or a small bottle of sand from a special beach occasion and then fill all of the pages with photos.  Thanks so much Jani for allowing me the opportunity to make this loveley Keepsake Box.  I really love it!!!

I believe Jani has this file and others she has created at her etsy store.  Go visit her blog for further details on that. http://papercompulsions.blogspot.com/

I have placed this project in a Show & Tell over at Paper Compulsions Link Up Party.  Go Check it out And place one of your recent projects there too at:

Back to School Teacher Box

Hello Ladies, Happy Monday to you all.  I enjoyed hopping along with the Pinkalicous Blog hop and Challenge this weekend over at My Pink Stamper.  I loved the hop...all of the DT's projects were awesome of course and so inspiring.  So Here is my entry I will be linking up for the Challenge.

I used a couple of different svg sets from svgcuts.  The Apple Book worm bag is from Miss Karens Back to school bags.  I put googley eyes in the glasses for a fun look on the little book worm.  I also added the chalk Board from another set of theirs called Back to School.  I used my Cri-Kits gel pens to add in the wording.  I tried white, but my gel pen kept acting up so I switched to a neon yellow pen.  I prefered the White but it was skipping to much and I needed to get all of the words, lol.  I cut a tag too, but everytime I added it it wanted to fall over so I skipped it.  You can visit svgcuts ~~~ at the top of my blog is a banner, just click it and go right to their store.  I Love ~ Love ~ Love their files.  Mary and Leo are so great.  Most of their files also have a tutorail video too and I find that such a wonderful help.  Awesome awesome files to choose from as well.  Right now you can get their   Elmhurst Hollow set free if you spend $9.98 I think.  I just got mine today, it is an awesome 3 - D haunted house, very very cool.  Just order a couple of kits that equal to 9.98 or more and then add that file on to your order, then just put in FREEGIFT as your promo code and you get it FREE!  Love It!!!

Divas By Design - Back to school

I so enjoyed the two hops I was in this week end too.  If you havent hopped yet get going because I close off the comments at midnight for everyones chance at my blog candy.  I will be announcing both winners tomorrow so come back by to see if you won, Good Luck.

Also get in on my Blogaversary candy ~~~~there is a link at the top right of my blog for the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge Giveaway, Good Luck.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I sure hope you leave a comment as I really enjoy reading those.

So Here is my Project,

I decided to go with a Fall project.  I loved the sidestep card from yesterdays hop so much I thought I would try my hand at another.  the adorable files are Paper Piecings again from Treasure Box Designs.  This set is called Fall Boy and I just adore it.  The Paper I got from a K&CompanyStack I just picked up at Michael's.  It is great, the first half of the stack is all Halloween papers and the second half is all beautiful Fall Backgrounds.  So I used everything from the Fall Boy kit here plus I added the sign from another of their awesome files that I own called Camping fun.  I showcased some of that awesome set in a a hop I did yesterday if you would like to go check that one out click here.  There is Blog Candy there too up for grabs through Monday.

I also added the Y in Yall for my Title, I used my Cuttlebug die Baby Face for that.  I used my Cuttlebug embossing folders, Swiss Dots for the centers of the flower which are popped up on the foam squares just like the ones I am giving away today.  Also for the corn, and I love how it turned out, I used the tiny bubbles embossing forder for them.  Of course I did a lot of inking on all of the pieses to give everything depth.  My white gelly roll pen for the eyes is a must.  I cut a second pocket for the boy.  The crow, I love....came out so great using a white ink to highlight him.  The sign words HAPPY I did on my Cricut with my awesome Cri-Kits Gel pens, I used a black glitter pen. I used the edge of the bird as a template to draw on the boys mouth, as there was none and I am so bad at free hand on faces.

Here is a side view of my card to show you how it works.  Also Dawn Griffith has an awesome video on how to make these side step cards if you are interested click here.  I think that about covers my project for today.

The Teddy Bear Blog Hop

Jen's Craft Corner Teddy Bear Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my Blog. If you hopped over from Teachdanz then you are in the right place. If you happened to of stumbled on my blog and would like to play along -  Please do so by starting at the beginning at - Jens Craft Corner

Pleasee make sure to stop by all of the blogs as there are some really talented ladies with fabulous projects on this blog hop. And I am sure there are some offering up some Yummy Candy like me and I wouldn‘t want you to miss out.  This is my FIRST EVER Blog Hop that I am designing for and I am so excited.  Thanks Jen for having me.

So Here is my Project,

This is my first ever side step card and it was a lot of fun.  This adorable Cut file Set is from Treasure Box Designs and it is called Camping Fun.  They have so many super cute files over there.  This is only a very few of the files from the whole Camping Fun set, but this is all I could fit on my card, hehe.  I embossed the logs and twig.  I used sparkly paper for the bottom section to look like sand.  I made the Fisherman Bear smaller so he would look like he was further away.  I inked the edges of everything before putting it all together and of course I used my white gelly roll pen to highlight the eyes.  Fun Fun, I really liked making this card.

I have entered this card into this Challenge
Simon Says Stamps Challenge -  Multi Fold Cards/Creations
Lil Red Wagon - #97  Die Cuts
Crafty Creations Challenges - Anything but Square

I wanted to add a second project that I have been working very hard on to finish up and hmmm, I am not exactly sure if Pooh is a teddy bear, but sort of.  Yeah, I think he is.  So Here is this project which I will be taking to my great nephew's Baby Shower on Saturday.  I won't go into much detail on this one since I am just kind of adding this one in.  Always happy to answer any questions though, just leave it in your comment.

And yes I do have a little Blog Candy for you.

Some awesome double sided Foam squares to pop stuff up and give it dimension.  These are what I used here on the Winnie The Pooh Photo Titles to pop them up.  Also I have a cute Cuttlebug Die Set to cut out cute little baby stuff for one lucky winner. Also I have added in some cute Teddy Bear cuts for you.  The pink one is from Doodlecharms and the other two are paper pieings from Treasure Box Designs from a kit called Beary Cute, this is Curly Bear and Toy Bear.
