Crafty Cutters Creations Blog Hop Day 1

Here is my Project:

I made a Banner for my Niece who was having a taster party for her business she is trying to launch of guilty Pleasures and decadent desserts called Sugar Ivy.

I used my Cricut Expression 2 Machine and my Cricut Craft Room to create this awesome Banner. For the base, I used the Girls Make Up Party Cartridge and ran each one through my cuttlebug using the squares folder from the simply charmed collection. For the two layered frame I used the Cricut Essentials Cartridge. The Font is from the Country Life Cart and I ran each letter through the cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Folder.

The Cupcakes are from the Imagine Cartridge, Better Together. I used the cuttlebug folder Candy cane stripe for the bottom of the cupcakes to give it that folded effect. I used the D'Vine Swirls Folder on the tops of the cupcakes and added Red stickles to the swirls design. I used ribbon to tie each of the panels 5" apart and then used my mini Bowdabra to make the bows and tied them in between each panel.

Here are just a few pictures of her Tasty treats at the taster party.

Yummy!!! Everything was so scrumptious!!!

Here is my Project

I used the Quote "To Have Joy One Must Share It"

This was from a vellum stack of quotes I had. The cartridge I used for almost everything on this card is from the Pink Journey Cartridge. The card cut, the flowers, even the scallop cut out I added to the center of the front of the card. I also used lots of tiny pink brads to adorn the front.

I made a scallop frame to add inside to go around my sentiment stamp. The wavy border was added from my paper cutter.

This cute flower border was cut from the Stamping Cricut Cartridge. I cut it in Blackout and I used a fun Friends Forever stamp in the center of each. I created everything in my Cricut Craft Room and then cut it all on my awesome Cricut Expression 2.

I love the new Cricut Craft Room! I never had a gypsy so the ability to change and manipulate in the craft room are soooo wonderful to me!!! I was also able to link all of my cartridges to the Cricut Craft Room and now I never have to put my cartridge in the machine anymore, it has them all stored and cuts whatever I make just like that. Woo Hoo I love this feature. It will also cut from 2 or more different carts on the same mat. In Love with this program!!! Thanks Provo Craft!!!

Tower of Love Box

Today I would like to share with you my newest creation... the Heart Tower Box.

I am so excited about this new box because I helped to design this one. It is perfect for giving valentines day treats to someone or even make it in black and white for a wedding. since it is a cut file I cut with my cricut I can make it large like this or even much smaller for party favors!!!

Here is a closeup of the Bow with a pink button I added in the center. You can also see the fun embossing I did on the outer pink hearts with the candy cane stripe folder.

A Closeup of the top so that you can see not only the top of the candy bag I inserted, but the red hearts in the center.

Valentine Blog Hop

So Here is my first Project,

Project #1 ~ The Heart Doily Tri-fold Card

This file will be available soon at Creative Kuts2. This is such a sweet and fun file to work with. I used a stamp at the top inside and a rub on Love You. in the center of the heart. The awesome doily around each cutout heart I heavily inked to make it pop! I used another heart cutout with a stamped heart in the center to adorn the center scalloped panel!!! I made the envelope to match with the awesome heart cutout in the tip of the flap. Love this file!!!

Project #2 ~ The Valentine Bear Tri-fold Card

This file will also be available soon to buy at Creative Kuts2. This is an adorable Valentines Day card to make and give to someone special. The heart opening leaves the perfect place to stamp or add something cute!!! This one will come with the envelope and adorable matching tag for a gift!!! There is also an adorable 3-D gift Bag in the store that matches this fun card!!!

Project # 3 ~ Floating Hearts Sucker Card

This card and envelope I designed and made all by myself...So simple but I am so proud of myself...lol!!! I even added little slits inside to slide a sucker into for a special treat for someone sweet!!!

For the hop today, I've created another Snowman Candy Bag like the one from yesterday. This is a cute cut file from our new store creativekuts2.com. It is not actually in the store but you can find many valentine and springtime bags available right now just like this super cute bag. You could put celophane on the inside or put your treats in a holiday bag and then stick inside. The window opening makes it so cute to see the cookies or candies that await inside. I know, I know Christmas is over but we are having a second Christmas a little late because my Stepdaughter and her Family were not able to make it until this weekend. It is not actually in the store but you can find many valentine and springtime bags available right now just like this super cute bag. Hello My Crafty Friends. Here is a 2 page layout I did for Christmas using an awesome file
called Ho Ho Ho from creativekuts.com. This is only part of the file. The heads are bobble heads, it is hard to see in still shots but just adorable in person. The letters & Tiles are from a Martha stewart pack I bought at Tuesday Mornings. The Paper pack is from Recollections called Jingle Bells.

Clothespin Card Chain

I ordered this adorable kit a couple of months ago from OTC and forgot all about it until I cleaned up my desk the other day. So I got out my glue gun and got to work putting it together this morning. Yay!!! I love the way it turned out. Most of the items, including those adorable tiny buttons were in the kit already but I added some cute little Christmas embellishments too. I am thinking if I hav time before Christmas I may add some cute paper piecings from Creative Kuts on each end. If not, there is always next year to add to it!!!

The Card in the center was handmade and sent to me by my wonderful Friend Jani from papercompulsions.com It is just Gorgeous!!! Thanks again Jani!!! You are such a sweetheart!!!

November Show and Tell at CUWC

Hello my Crafty friends, Here is my project for show & Tell over at Cuttin Up with Class
I had so much fun making this Wreath. I hope you are all playing along this week at Cuttin Up with Class. all you have to do this week is post one of your favorite projects and link up. Also leave comments for the other ladies projects, they love to get comments too. Easy Peasy, thanks Jani for hosting!!!

It was a fun build-a-project over at Creative Kuts on FB for the wreath part then we were to add any CK file to the center. I chose one special to me because this Snow Much Love file that I chose is a sketch I drew and submitted for another contest and this is what our awesome Designer of the files, Cheryl came up with and I love it. If you want to buy this snowman couple file, it is right here. the other part was a fun challenge at Creative Kuts on FB and is actually very simple to create with 20 rectangle pieces of paper. I got mine from CK so it has the awesome scallops around the edge. I got the adorable snowflakes from SCAL2. We will be starting a new Build-A-Project on Mondayand you get the free file just for playing along. At the end of the week I make a fun video showcasing all of our enties. I hope you come play along...this coming week it is a 3-d snowflake and it looks like an awesome addition for your holiday decor. If you are not already become a fan on our CK FB page and then watch for the instructions on Monday. I will try to get it posted here also to remind you.

Christms tree card

Hello my crafty friends. I hope all is well with each one of you. I have been keeping myself sooooooo busy lately. I wanted to share my newest swap card with you while I have the chance.

I used an svg file from svg cuts, used a fun Christmas paper mat stack from OTC and a bit of twine that I recieved from a bloggy friend for some blog candy I won, thanks Karen. I also added some ribbon I bought at target and a cute irridescent flower for the top of the tree from JoAnn's. Oh and a splash of glitter glue in the center of the flower.

Turkey Day Crafts

Hello My Crafty Friends. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! We did at my house with lots of Family Love!!! Dinner was awesome and we were all stuffed...lol. I am now looking forward to doing it again on Christmas!!! I really love the Holiday's and cherish all of the Family moments we get to share. I wanted to share a few projects with you for my last minute Turkey day projects and also an extra special piece from my grandson.

To start off with, I made this adorable Turkey from a fun challenge over at Creative Kuts on FB where you do a Build-A-Project...so fun. The files are mailed to you for free just for playing along. Get over there and play along and get your Turkeys turned in by Sunday. Then you can play again next week!!!

Next I want to share another Creative Kuts file that I made for a challenge over in our Forum for the Paper Piecing Challenge hosted by our DT member Bonnie. This Sunflower Treat Box I made 4 times for all 4 of the Grand kids yesterday to give them for Thanksgiving, I filled with some M&M's and other treats.

Next, I have these adorable Napkin Rings that I made with the 5 and 6 year old yesterday. I got the Turkey from SVG Attic. The Rings I got at the dollar store and ripped off the not so attractivr sunflowers that were on them. I cut the pieces and showed the kids how to layer them up. With the help of their Mom, they glued all of the Turkeys together. I added the beak's and eyes and then hot glued then to the rings. Loved this super fun project with the kids!!!

and last but not least...My 6 year old Grandson wanted to make a Robot Turkey for his Kindergarten class project. I cut and sent hin the pieces for a Robot from my Best of 2010 Cricut Cartridge and Turkey Parts from Svg Attic and Creative Kuts. When I he came over for Thanksgiving yesterday, he brought it to share with me...It Is Soooooo Cute!!!!!!!

That is it for now but I will be back soon to start posting some Christmas Projects!!!

For my First Project, I will be starting with Fall. I made a video so that I may show you all of the details of this fun project.

I used the Creative Kuts File Falling For You. You can find it in the CK store by clicking Here. For the patterned papers I used the Fall Paper Kit from Oriental Trading CO, only the Papers were used from this kit. The Solid papers are all Bazzill. The Ribbon to make my bow and inside accents was from Recollections. The boys face is stamped with a peachy Keen face stamp from the everyday character face assoertment. The big leaves on the top of the box are embossed with D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug folder and all of the small leaves are embossed with Stylized Flowers Cuttlebug folder. I used only the leaf accent spots on the folder so I could only emboss five or six at a time...lol. This ended up taking awhile!!! The Fonts I used were from Kates ABC's and the box itself is from svgcuts.

My Second Project today is one of my favorite things to make. This Bottle light is Beautiful either lit up or not.

I used the Creative Kuts Pointsettia Etching File You can find it in the CK store by clicking HERE.
I first used Armor etch over the stencil to etch the bottle. Now normally you would wash the etching cream off to remove when your etching time is up, but I wanted to try something new and so I carefully wiped off the cream with a wet paper towel until it was all off, so that I didn't raise the edges of the stencil. I then took my Tim Holtz alcohol inks and a small paint brush and began coloring the etching in. I used Red Pepper for the Petals, Oregano for the leaves and Mushroom for the center. I did several coats of each. After it was completly dry I removed the Pointsettia Etching stencil and then I added gold stickles to the center. The bottom part is simply a Holiday candle ring I bought at Michaels. The Bow is made with my Bowdabra mini. It is a wire edged ribbon by believe also bought from Michaels. I added in some Holiday red and white cording by Celebrate it and added some cute little jingle bells to the ends. Normally I make my bottle lights with a plug in style Christmas light strand but this time I used a strand of battery powered lights, which give off a softer glow. After adding the lights, I dropped in clear glass pebbles and it pushed the lights down and adds the perfect accent lighting and glow to the bottle when lit.

I decided to make a trifold Birthday Card in honor of Dandy's Blog Birthday. I used the file from SVG CUTS from their Merry and Bright Christmas Card Kit, I just changed it to my colors. I used these beautiful papers from a a 4.5 by 6.5 paper stack called Latte Matstack, love, love love it! From DCWV. I also used some fun embelishments from a scrapping kit I had. I added some bling to them. The big flower on the left is a paper embellishment on the bottom layered with a cute purple flower from my stash and a metal flower with fancy brad through the middle, that is popped up on foam squares. The tag in the center of the card was also cut from the same file and I added an eyelet to the two tags. I tied a piece of lavender floss into a bow through the eyelet. I Stamped the tag with a Happy Birthday sentiment from a new fiskars set called wishes all around that I recently won from my friend Sandy at http://thecraftycreationspot.blogspot.com Thanks Sandy, love em!
