Pretty Purple Dahlias Just for you

Good morning crafty friends.  Thanks to the mod squad challenge group for inspiring me to get out my dahlias layering stamp set and give it a play!
I started with a 5" x 6 1/2" card base in white that I covered with some blackish gray designer paper, stack is from Color Blok - Midnight Garden.  I added a purple cardstock layer over that, I ran it though the basket weave embossing folder by Darice and I inked the edges with one of the shades of purple inks I was using.  The top mat is a beautiful handmade paper from my stash with shiny silver polka dots.  I won these beautiful handmade papers many years ago in a hop.... I love them!  I used my Simon says stamp - bundle of stitched shapes for cutting that layer with stitching around the edge.  I matted it with another black layer and then I matted that with a green designer paper from the same paper stack.   I used my purple cows trimmer to cut a deckled edge border strip down the center of the card from the same blackish gray floral designer paper as the first layer.   I then changed out the blade to a scallop and cut a black border strip which I placed just behind the green layer on the left-hand side.  The beautiful "Layering Dahlias Stamp Set" is from hot off the press.  I Stamped two large blooms and one smaller bloom and the same leaf three times using my Pecision press to line up the layers each time.   Each base bloom had three layered stamps that I stamped in a blend of purple inks light to dark.  I used Stampabilitities Lavender pigment ink for the base color and then Heliotrope & Violet for the next layers from Color Box Purple cats eye pigment inks.  I then took it one step further and stamped one more bloom for each of the large blooms, this time for the very top Layer I stamped with VersaMark and used purple foil embossing powder!  Love it!!! I hand cut out around the center portion and popped those up on foam tape to give the 3-D flower affect.  For the centers of all three flowers I added glue and sprinkled with dark purple tiny beads.  I used a couple of my dies for the extra sprigs of leaves and swirls cut out of a green card stock.   And finally the tag is from Cricut - lovely florals,  I cut the base with the same purple I used as the basket weave and the top layer is from the same designer paper - Midnight Garden stack it has a soft muted background design.   The "Just for you" stamp is from the same stamp set from HOTP - Layering Dahlias.   I added a bow from Baker's twine in purple and white to top it off.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my creation!   Thanks again Mod Squad challenge group for an awesome fun challenge that I'm barely getting my entry squeaked in before the deadline!!!  Lol

Bee Happy Block Card

I had such a great time making this fun 3-D Block card.   The file is from www.Creativekuts.com for the upcoming August card train on FB.
You can find their group here for more info
almost everything on this card is from the file.  I added the 4 red buttons with yellow bakers twine and the red bakers twine for the banner.  the little red flower rhinestones are from my stash and I dotted each one with yellow dimensional fabric paint.
For the back I used some designer paper from my stash and stamped images with my Crafters Companion Hexagon coordinating Stamp Set that coordinates with my hexagon stamps when using that part of the collection, which in this case I did not.  The sentiment Stamp is one favs ... it is from HOTP Lacy Things Stamp Set. I love that these block/Box cards can lay flat for mailing.

Olaf Center Step Card

I am on a roll with another Christmas in July card to share today.  This one was super quick and easy.
I started with card cut from SVG Attic.  I then used two different sets of shape stack dies for the layers from two sheets of DP from a ekSuccess Frozen stack I purchased a couple of years ago from walmart. The pierced rectangles and the stitched label dies were a great choice for this card cut.  Olaf was in my stash from years past projects.  I added some fun dotted buttons that I ran dark blue bakers twine through and tied bows.  I also needed to add a sentiment so I grabbed the tiny flag die from Bundle of stitched shapes - Simon Says Stamp.  I used the happy winter stamp from tiny tags Christmas - My Craft Spot.  I stamped in versamark and heat embossed in white.
For the inside I simply cut another stitched label die from white and stamped the sentiment and snowflakes from HOTP Fancy Christmas Greetings.

Ice skate tag Christmas card

Another Christmas in July card to share today.  Lots of snow going on for this card.
For the background layer I cut with Simon says stamp bundle of stitched shapes and embossed with cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder.  I used a stitched border die cut twice and layered to create the snow hills from Outdoor landscape dies - craftin desert divas.  I then ran it through again with the same die I used for the main background layer and then adhered the snowy hills.  The tag was created from Very Merry Tags - Cricut.  The blue sweater paper I really liked for this one.  I heat embossed a snowflake swirl stamp in white from Winter in NY - inkadinkadoo.  The sentiment tag was created with a stamp set from Noel Christmas Ornaments - justrite stamps.  I heat embossed the decorative tag stamp in a sparkly blue embossing powder.  I used my SNC to cut it out leaving an outer edge  as a shadow.  I then stamped with the sentiment stamp in blue ink.  The ice skate is from CM Cheerful Seasons - Cricut.  I stamped blue ink for the snowflakes and used blue puffy paint for the laces.  I used a shiny metallic tape to cut the skate blade.  I used blue embroidery floss for both bows and added several different snowflake diecuts from my stash.  Oh and a blue rhinestone gem o the top snowflakes and a pretty blue glass snowflake on the bottom.

Winter is for the birds

hey there Crafty friends, I have a Christmas in July card for you today.   What a fun simple card to make.   I should do several of these for my Christmas card list.
The light blue embossed mat is cut from Simon says stamp bundle of stitched shapes.  That gorgeous snowflake swirl embossing folder is from Darice.  The cute little bird stamp and sentiment on the front are from Peachy Keen stamps.  I used my spectrum noir pens to color the little birdie.   I also stamped a little Holly leaves and cut out...  to layer onto the Birdies head,  I added some red beads in a bottle for the berries.
The white stitched oval  for the sentiment is a diecut,  I then ran it through my SNC2 to make the lavender shadow layer for it, I popped it up on foam tape.  The tiny stars are from the banner.  I used the same small snowflake die three times cut from white card stock and then three times cut from white vellum.   I sponged the vellum snowflakes with a lavender pigment Ink.   After layering them up I placed a lavender dew drop in the center of each. I placed some white pearl bows (China) at the ends of the banner.
For the inside I used several different stamp sets.  Both of the sentiment stamps are from Desert Craftin Divas - Chill Out Stamp set.   I found this sentiment to work perfect with the front of the card.   I found several different snowflake stamps in my stash and used the different colors of inks to bring the inside all together.   I love the snowflake swirl I stamped first in lavender from Inkadinkado Christmas In New York Stamp Set.   The inside stitched Mat is again the same one from the front which is from Simon says stamp bundle of stitched shapes.

Sugar Plum Christmas block box card

Hello crafty friends, it's been along time since I've posted here.   This morning I cleaned up my craft island and got busy on a Christmas in July card.   I had so much fun decorating this awesome card style.   The fun Card file is from Creativekuts.com  I used hot off the press sugar plum foil artful card kit  for the beautiful papers and a lot of the decorations and die cuts.
I used My SNC2 to cut a back shadow layer in purple for the tree and label die cuts.  The merry Christmas stamp on the front is from  HOTP small stamps poinsettia,  I stamped with stazOn black ink because the tag had a slick surface.
On the tops I added the cute coordinating buttons from the kit that I tied a purple ribbon thru each before attaching each one to a stitched circle die cut I cut again from the metal tape.  The die is from Simon Says Stamp, Bundle of Stitched Shapes die set.

The adorable stockings are made with a HOTP die set called 9 tiny Christmas things + shadows, but I didn't use the shadow on these.   I added some  metallic silver flat back pearls at the top of each stocking.  The gorgeous Poinsettia is from the same die cut set, this time I did cut the shadow in purple and I cut the top layer out of metal tape I got from hubbies garage.   On these I added a larger  metallic purple flat back pearl to the center of each.  The "sugarplum" sentiment on the back of the card is a premade printed tag from the kit.  I added a purple layer with my SNC2.  Behind that I cut 2 X-Stitched Banners from my undbranded Die set and adhered them together with the flag tails sticking out on either end.
On the bottom I placed my adorable sentiment stamp "May your holidays sparkle and shine " from Cardz TV "Merry Everything" Stamp set.,  stamped in memento tuxedo black Ink.   I thought this was the perfect sentiment to go with all of the pretty  and shiny silver foil accents all over this card.  I wish you could see all of the gorgeous silver foil accents better.  I love that this card folds flat for mailing.
